Scope
Recent progress in every aspect of science and technology related with electronics and photonics using organic molecules, polymers, hybrid perovskites and bio-related materials will be discussed at the proposed conference (M&BE11). Promotion of research communications with researchers from Asian countries is also intended.
Topics on basic studies such as fabrication and characterization of thin films, interfacial phenomena, spectroscopy, and single-molecule manipulations, as well as application-oriented studies, related to LEDs, FETs, energy-harvesting devices (solar cell, thermoelectrics, piezoelectrics, etc), memory devices, biochips, biosensors and so on, are all included. A limited number of plenary and invited lectures by overseas guest speakers, as well as domestic guest speakers, will be arranged. Contributed papers will be presented in both oral and poster sessions.

Awards
We offer several awards for outstanding oral and poster presentations.
M&BE Student Poster Award: Awards will be given to the outstanding student posters from among the nominated posters. Nomination is required via the submission form.
M&BE Award (tentative): Awards will be given to outstanding oral and poster presentations from among all presentations, excluding student posters.

General presenters wishing to give an oral or poster presentation should prepare their abstracts using the downloaded template. Your abstract should be submitted via the submission form for peer review. Only accepted papers will be presented.

Special Issue of Japanese Journal of Applied Physics
(Optional)
The conference presenters are strongly encouraged to submit their original or review articles based on the conference abstracts to the special issue of Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (JJAP). The submitted papers will undergo the reviewing process and will be published in March 2025. The special issue of JJAP has a privilege of providing open access through IOP Publishing for one year after the publication, which contribute to increase the visibility of your research. Note that a special rate of publication charge (40,000 JPY/article).
The deadline for submission is July 31, 2024.
The presenter (including poster presenter) will be able to submit the paper (one paper/one presentation) for Progress Review, Regular Paper and Brief Note.
